2. CAPE MINSTREL CARNIVAL
The Kaapse Klopse is a minstrel festival that takes place annually on 2 January and it is also referred to as Tweede Nuwe Jaar, in Cape Town, South Africa. As many as 13,000 minstrels take to the streets garbed in bright colours, either carrying colourful umbrellas or playing an array of musical instruments. 3. TABLE MOUNTAIN CABLE WAY SPECIAL
From the 1 November 2019 to 28 February 2020, Table Mountain Cableway is running a Sunset Special for locals. Experience the magical Cape Town sunset from the top of the iconic Table Mountain for less this summer! The cableway is offering a half-price special where a return ticket between 6pm and 8pm will only cost R150 per adult and R75 per child.
